In 2009 RAM Systems Ltd took over the manufacture and maintenance of the Digicard Systems Card Readers & Cards, and has continued to supply and support our customers through direct sales and our International Distribution Network. Drawing on many years of experience of the manufacture and maintenance of card readers and cards, RAM Systems Ltd continue to offer what was the Digicard range of card reading systems.

The CCR2 (Compact Card Reader)is a second generation motorised magnetic card reader transactor of very compact proportions. It has been carefully designed and developed to avoid problems created by vandals and genuine user error. The CCR 2 is of robust construction which is reliable and easy to mantain.

Pre-Payment Cards
Manufactured from a high quality biodegradable card and produced entirely on our own premises. These cards are available as the most economical standard Ram Systems Ltd. version or as customised cards printed with customer’s logos and/or messages. An optional addition is to have the cards marked with individual serial numbers.
The cards are delivered pre-validated with site code and value already encoded into the magnetic strip.

Pre-payment Cards:
Standard Ram cards from £250 + VAT per 1000 Price discounted @ >5000 Cards.

Delivery charges will be the DHL Standard charge for UK and EU deliveries unless you specify your own courier.

RAM Systems Ltd was established in 2009 as a Limited Company formed from the sale of Digicard Systems a subsidiary of Ampy Metering UK Ltd by Toshiba / Landis + Gyr.
RAM Systems took over the manufacture and maintenance of the Digicard systems and has continued to supply and support our customers through direct sales and the structure of our international distribution network.
Managing Director of RAM Systems, Rufus Shoon, who worked for 25 years with Ampy Automation/Digicard Systems took over the production, maintenance and sales of Digicard Systems along with two former employees of Ampy Automation/Digicard Systems, Peta Cassidy responsible for card production for 23 years and Ian Fox a card reader technician for over 22 years.
RAM Systems Ltd are the only manufacturer of the original Digicard Systems and Cards.
Being part of an innovative team leading the development of card reading technology way back in the early 80’s allowed RAM Systems Ltd to be at the forefront of customer support and service with a production team second to none.
Pioneers in the field of card reading/metering technologies Ken & Tony Payne along with the commercial professionalism of Neville Chandler taught the team at RAM Systems Ltd many lessons in these fields including the most important! Customers are our number one priority!
